A Texas A&M police officer pulling over a vehicle for an expired registration leads to a passenger’s arrest on drug charges.

According to the arrest report, two passengers in the vehicle had warrants. After the officer made them aware of these warrants, 20 year-old Randi Michelle Shane of Caldwell told the officer she had ecstasy in her bra.

After being transported to the Brazos County Jail, the officer discovered more ecstasy powder in the backseat of his patrol vehicle that Shane tried to hide. Shane was charged with possession of a controlled substance, tampering with evidence, and the warrants out of Bryan.

According to online records, this is her fourth arrest in 13 months.

Bryan police responded to an assault at a home on Willow Oak St. on Sunday night shortly before 11 p.m.

According to the arrest report, 36 year-old Colby Williams of Bryan came home from the bar and got into an argument with his girlfriend. When the argument escalated, the girlfriend’s son and daughter started hitting him before leaving the house.

During the investigation, Williams became non-compliant and was put in handcuffs. The girlfriend’s son returned to the home during this time, and Williams made a threatening comment. Officers also found marijuana in Williams’s pocket.

He was arrested and charged with assault by threat family violence, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
