College Station police responded to the 300 block of Marion Pugh near Luther Street Thursday around 7 p.m. for an assault.
According to the news release, the victim said her girlfriend assaulted her and tried to stab her. The suspect, who was found at the scene, admitted using the knife to try to scare the victim.
The victim, who suffered non-life threatening injuries, was checked out by CSFD medical personnel and released.
20 year-old Dajah Clark of College Station was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

On November 26th, 2019 at approximately 1900 hours, Officers with the College Station Police Department responded to a report of an Assault in the 300 block of Marion Pugh Drive. The victim reported she was assaulted by known suspect with a knife. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, who had non-incapacitating injuries. The victim reported her girlfriend has physically assaulted her and attempted to stab her. The victim believed her life was in imminent danger. The suspect was found on scene and admitted to using the knife to try to scare the victim. The victim was evaluated by CSFD medical personnel and released from the scene.
The suspect was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a Deadly Weapon. Additionally, because the parties involved were intimately involved in a romantic relationship, the charge was enhanced as a Family Violence Offense.
