Director Of The B/CS Library System Is Retiring

The search is on for the Bryan/College Station library system’s first director in more than ten years.

According to the city of Bryan, which announced the retirement of Larry Koeninger at the end of the year, there are no plans to name an interim director.

A city spokeswoman says applications are still being taken and no interviews have taken place.

According to the city’s website, applications are being taken until the position is filled.

A retirement reception will be held Friday, December 13, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the Clara B. Mounce library in downtown Bryan.
