16 Bryan apartments were evacuated by a fire Saturday night.
Fire chief Randy McGregor says the fire started in a vent fan in a first floor bathroom.
No one was injured.
McGregor said displaced residents from Plainsman Lane, which is west of 29th and south of Barak, were assisted by the Red Cross.
The chief says electricity was restored Sunday to four units, and an electrical feed needs to be replaced to the remaining 12 units.
McGregor says eight of the 12 will remain closed until structural repairs are completed.
