As the regular Texas A&M student pull ended on Thursday at 5 p.m., a record 29,520 Aggies pulled tickets for the football game against 8th-ranked Nebraska on Saturday. The old A&M record was 28,100 for the 2002 Oklahoma game.
Director of Athletics Bill Byrne said he’s asked the ticket office to put additional chairs on the track and find every available standing room space for even more students to attend. Even with the record pull, there were some students who did not claim their ticket today. At least 1,000 more student standing room only tickets remain. Beginning at 8 a.m. on Friday, students may purchase guest tickets, walk-ups or pull tickets with unused sports options as long as they are available. (A student ticket for a non-sports pass holder is $20 and a guest ticket bought be a student is $40)
The ticket windows at the north end of Kyle Field will open at 8 a.m. and the windows will close at 5 p.m., or until the 1,000 tickets are claim
