23 year old Daniel Villalpando Jr. of College Station is accused of pointing a handgun into a SUV in a parking lot near Church and Nagle…and as the SUV drove away, gunfire shattered the driver’s side window and struck the driver’s side front tire.
The driver and two passengers were not struck.
Villalpando, who was arrested on Sunday, remained in jail Monday in lieu of bonds totaling $90,000 dollars.
Bryan motorists may have noticed new fences surrounding some school campuses that also border city parks. City council members were given an update during their July 9th regular meeting that Bryan ISD installed security fencing affecting Cherry, Tiffany, and Austin’s Colony parks. Bryan police responding to a disturbance Tuesday (July 16) at 2:30 in the morning results in the arrests of two men who officers were told were involved with the same woman. Both men were charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. BPD arrest reports say 23 year old Steven Chase Richardson of Bryan, who the woman told police she still lives with but is no longer in a relationship with, admitted ramming his pickup into her car. This is after Richardson confronted the woman at another man’s apartment, where 20 year old Frederick Hall III of Bryan admitted to firing his rifle and hitting Richardson’s pickup. Officers found five shell casings. Richardson is out of jail after posting a $30,000 dollar bond. Hall remains jailed as of July 18 in lieu of a $30,000 dollar bond. College Station police make an arrest in an armed robbery where the victim thought he was selling a PlayStation with the help of a phone app. Instead, the PlayStation was taken at gunpoint. The CSPD arrest report says the suspect was identified by getting his e-mail address from the phone app. That led to the July 9th arrest of 19 year old Stanley Mosley III for armed robbery. He was released from jail July 12th after posting a $40,000 dollar bond.
