Texas A&M-Alabama Football Game Is The First Test Of College Station’s New Ticket Scalping Ordinance

Just in time for the Texas A&M-Alabama football game, ticket scalpers around Kyle Field have to abide by a new ordinance that was passed by the College Station city council last month.

The council’s unanimous vote also included an interlocal agreement with the university for related law enforcement assistance.

At last count, A&M has issued 25 permits to people to scalp tickets they acquired from outside sources.

The ordinance does not impact the occasional resale of personal tickets.
