Two College Station ISD Schools Evacuated Thursday Following Fire Alarms

Two College Station ISD schools were evacuated Thursday following fire alarms.

College Station firefighters responded to an alarm at 11:35 a.m. at College Station high school.

CSFD reports the alarm went off due to burned food in a microwave.

CSHS was evacuated because the alarm was activated.

No one was injured.

Original story:

College Station firefighters were called at a quarter of seven Thursday morning to an alarm at Creek View elementary school.

No one was hurt in what turned out to be smoke that was generated by a malfunctioning heating and air conditioning unit.

CSFD complemented school staff for being alert and evacuating quickly.

There was no delay in starting classes.
