Initial Review Of City Of College Station’s First Community Conversations Event

The city of College Station’s first community conversation brought out 75 people to discuss the future of the city’s first park…Thomas Park.

City manager Bryan Woods said discussion included whether a pool will return to Thomas Park.

Woods added the discussion extended to other subjects.

Multiple members of city staff and a majority of the city council were also present.

Woods says once information from the conversation and comment cards are processed, that information will become available to the public, the city council, the parks board, and city staff.
