CSCAA Recognizes Texas A&M for Academic Success

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Texas A&M University was recognized by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA) for their academic success for the Spring 2019 Semester. Both the men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams were named to the CSCAA’S Scholar All-America Team.

CSCAA Executive Director Greg Earhart noted: “Coach Holmes and Bultman continue to run model programs that compete for championships and produce outstanding graduates.”

A&M highlighted the record 48 institutions that were named to the list, with the men’s team posting a 3.08 GPA and the women’s team achieving a 3.33 GPA.

The median GPA among women’s teams was the highest on record (3.45), while the men’s median was down slightly from the Fall semester (3.23).

The CSCAA was founded in 1922 and is the first organization of college coaches in America – a professional organization of college swimming and diving coaches dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming and diving at the collegiate level.
