Three Drug Arrests Follows Home Search & DWI Arrest Follows Hit And Run Crash

Bryan police observing a home for what officers believed to be drug sales led to a search last Thursday that resulted in the arrests of three men who have in the Brazos County jail a combined total of 42 times. Half of those jail bookings come from one of the occupants, 34 year old Damion King. He and 40 year old Aric King, who also lives at the home near Scurry Park, and 23 year old Jacorey Jones of Houston, are held on bonds ranging from $50,000 to $200,000 dollars. The trio is accused of selling PCP out of the home.

Bryan police find the driver accused of causing a hit and run crash last (TH) night at 29th and Briarcrest. According to the arrest report, a Waco area man had a breath alcohol level more than two and a half times the legal limit at .213 and .215. The breath samples were taken after the driver failed field sobriety tests on Broadmoor Drive, west of the municipal golf course. 53 year old Billy Merchant of Robinson, who told officers he did not know how his face was smeared with blood, is out of jail after posting a $4,000 dollar cash bond.
