Bryan Police Reminders Of Card Skimmers & Summertime Safety Reminders

News release from Bryan police:

On June 10, 2019, at 9:00 a.m. officers responded to Circle K located at 4609 E 29th St. for a fraud call.

It was discovered by an employee that two skimming devices had been placed on their gas pumps sometime between June 9, 2019, after closing and that morning.

It is advised if you used the pumps on the northern side of the business close to the Redbox, to check your accounts.

When using gas pumps always check the device to make sure it does not look tampered with.

If you suspect it has been tampered with notify an employee immediately.

It is advisable that all citizens utilize their one free credit report a year from all three reporting agencies atwww.annualcreditreport.com
