DWI Arrests Follow A Rollover Crash Near The Airport And Vomiting During Tuesday Afternoon’s Commute

A single vehicle crash near Easterwood Airport during the midnight hour Tuesday resulted in a DWI arrest. According to the College Station police arrest report, the lesser of two alcohol breath tests measured more than twice the legal limit at .190. 22 year old Anchit Patel of College Station told police he lost control of his SUV on Harvey Mitchell Parkway and flipped it, which deployed the airbags. A TxDOT L-E-D warning sign was struck and destroyed. After being checked by firefighter EMT’s and failing field sobriety tests, Patel went to jail, where he was released after posting a $4,000 dollar bond.

A Bryan man with two drunk driving convictions in Georgia is accused of DWI during Tuesday afternoon’s commute in College Station. The driver’s alcohol breath test measured almost three times the legal limit at .232. 46 year old Craig Budge was released from jail on Thursday after posting an $8,000 dollar bond.
