On 3/11/2019, at approximately 1745 hours, College Station Animal Control received a report of an animal bite that occurred in the Meadow Creek Subdivision. The victim advised that while walking south, on the sidewalk, on Creek Meadow Blvd North near Beaver Creek Drive, a white female, in her 50’s, walked towards the victim with a dog on a leash. The dog owner tried to move from the sidewalk to the street, but the dog was too strong for the owner to handle. The dog pulled the owner back onto the sidewalk, where the dog made contact with the victim. As the victim was passing by the dog, she stopped and placed her hands by the side of her body so the dog could smell her, but the dog suddenly lunged at her and bit her. The dog owner is described as having short grey hair, a slim build, approximately 5’4″ tall, and wearing a light colored shirt. The dog is described as a brown/chocolate Labrador, weighing approximately 80 to 90 pounds.
