A Bryan man who served time in the Brazos County jail twice last year returned to jail following a driving related arrest.

A Texas A&M police officer stopped a SUV for driving at night with one headlight.

That led to the arrest of 33 year old Thomas Lankford for driving with an invalid license with a prior conviction.

According to the arrest report, Lankford has had his drivers license suspended nine times in the last three and a half years.

Online court records indicate Lankford was sentenced last January to 66 days after admitting to escaping from a Bryan police officer.

That was followed by a guilty plea on December third for criminal trespassing. While he was ordered to serve 150 days, Lankford was released early since the 150 day punishment would not have ended until the first week of May.

Lankford is out of jail following his latest arrest after posting a $2,000 dollar bond.
