College Station Police Announce Vehicle Burglary Arrest

College Station police announce increased surveillance of a neighborhood hit by vehicle burglaries results in an arrest early Saturday morning.

Additional officers were along Southwest Parkway between Wellborn and Welsh when a person of interest was found around 2 a.m. That led to the arrest of 44 year old Teron Pratt of College Station on a warrant for criminal trespassing.

According to a CSPD news release, Pratt was also arrested for vehicle burglary with two or more prior convictions after he had unidentified property that was stolen from two vehicles parked in one of the apartment complexes.

The news release did not indicate if forced entry was made into the victim’s vehicles.

According to online records, in October 2010 Pratt was sentenced to six years in prison for burglary of a vehicle with two or more prior convictions.

And Saturday’s arrest marked Pratt’s 22nd booking in the Brazos County jail since August 2002.
