Local Arrests On Capital Murder Warrant From Tarrant County, Criminal Trespassing, And Employee Theft From A C-Store

A Bryan man driving a car that was pulled over by Bryan police is now in the Brazos County jail on a capital murder warrant from Tarrant County. According to the Bryan police arrest report, 20 year old Brodrick Ross Jr. told the officer the warrant was because Tarrant County officials accused him of refusing to to take a drug test, which Ross said that was not the case. Ross was arrested on local charges of illegally possessing what’s believed to be nine hydrocodone acetaminophen pills and drug paraphernalia. The officer made the traffic stop because the vehicle registration expired two months ago. Ross is one of two men accused in a January 2017 robbery and shooting death of a Fort Worth man.

College Station police responding to what was initially described as an apartment burglary early Friday morning ended with an arrest on criminal trespassing charges. 21 year old Guillaume Bertin of College Station is accused of going into three units and trying to enter a fourth at The Cottages near Holleman and Harvey Mitchell. The arrest report did not indicate that Bertin forced his way into any of the apartments.

A College Station man spent the weekend in jail before posting bond on charges of taking more than $1,200 dollars while working at the Stripes convenience store on Wellborn Road. According to the arrest report, 21 year old Dadrin Hopkins was seen on store video taking the money during a ten day period last April.
