Weekend DWI Arrests Follow Witness Assistance To Bryan Police

A DWI arrest Saturday night in Bryan followed what police described was a minor collision at Wellborn and F&B Roads and assistance by a witness before officers arrived. According to the arrest report, a witness took the keys to to the driver’s SUV because she was trying to leave. The driver told officers she had consumed two shots of rum and 16 Prozac pills. That led to the arrest of 18 year old Natalie Caldera of College Station.

The driver of a pickup that drove over a guardrail on William Joel Bryan at the freeway and slid down an embankment escaped injury. Then the driver went to jail on DWI and marijuana charges. According to the arrest report, 31 year old Anthony Ybarra of Bryan told police someone else was driving and they left the scene. Several witnesses told police Ybarra was alone.
