An officer from Texas A&M transportation services notified university police about a parked car in the Northside garage with a 12 gauge shotgun and what turned out to be almost one pound of marijuana. According to the UPD arrest report, the officers then found a handgun. That led to contacting the district attorney’s office and getting permission to tow the car and remove the marijuana, the guns, and some tubes containing THC concentrate oil. The owner of the car contacted College Station police to report the car was missing. CSPD transferred the call to UPD, and the owner and his father went to UPD. About three hours after the initial report, 21 year old Jey Baldobino of College Station was arrested on drug charges after admitting the drugs and guns belonged to him. UPD did not know the estimated street value of the drugs.
