For the first time, Blinn College summer enrollment numbers had more students taking online classes versus going to campus classrooms.
More than 5,500 online students made up more than half of the 10,462 who took summer classes.
The number of online students rose by 806 from last summer, while the number taking classes on the Bryan campus fell by 769 and in Brenham by 30.
Blinn officials offered fewer on campus classes this summer due to the popularity of its online courses.
Blinn continues preparations for fall classes that start August 27th.
