Austin Murder Suspect Arrested In College Station

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) _ A third person has been arrested on charges that he conspired to fatally shoot an Austin-area jeweler in the jeweler’s home earlier this year.

Twenty-one-year-old Johnny Roman Leon was arrested Wednesday in College Station on a charge of criminal solicitation of capital murder.

Court records show investigators believe Leon conspired with 19-year-old Nicolas Patrick Shaughnessy to kill Shaughnessy’s father, Theodore Shaughnessy, on March 2.

The younger Shaughnessy is being held at the Travis County jail on a $3 million bond. He and his wife, 19-year-old Jaclyn Edison, also are each charged with criminal solicitation of capital murder. Edison posted bond last month and is no longer being held.
