Too many people during the July 4th holiday period have closed a lake in the Dallas suburb of Garland and restricted those at Lake Waxahachie to only residents.
There no restrictions at Lake Bryan, which is operated by BTU (Bryan Texas Utilities).
BTU energy accounts manager Meagan Brown says there will be increased security through the weekend.
With a continuing chance of rain, parkgoers should prepare for the possibililty of severe weather.
Rules at Lake Bryan includes no fireworks, pets must be leashed at all times, campfires are restricted to contained fire rings or grills, no loud or profane music, and quiet hours are from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m.
