College Station Police Arrest North Zulch Woman On Work Related Forgery Charges

A North Zulch woman is accused of forging ten checks belonging to her former employer.

37 year old Jennifer Westbrook is also being held on a parole violation.

Westbook was arrested by College Station police on four counts of forgery, totaling almost $3,300 dollars.

According to the arrest report, nine of the checks were made out to Westbrook and the tenth was to her landlord to pay rent.

The forgeries were discovered during an audit which followed after the woman was fired in January after six months on the job.

According to online court records, Westbook pleaded guilty to credit card fraud almost five years ago and was sentenced to nine years. In that case, she was ordered to repay restitution, attorney fees, and court costs. No payment has been made on the total bill of almost $7,700 dollars.
