A two-game winning streak with the energy of a new quarterback? You can’t ask for much more going into a game with the 8th ranked team in the nation. A team that has outscored you 173-52 in the last three meetings.
The Aggies used a record setting day by quarterback Ryan Tannehill to dominated Texas Tech 45-27 Saturday afternoon and now must try to bring their new-found confidence back to Kyle Field to face an Oklahoma team that just two weeks ago was ranked No. 1 in the Nation by the BCS poll.
Their loss to Missouri pushed them down and now they are eighth but coming off a 43-10 romp over Colorado Saturday. Kickoff Saturday night at 6 pm.
Tannehill is expected to be the starter again after he passed for an A&M record 449 yards in his first college start. He completed 36-50 for 4 touchdowns and even helped his team to another score with a pootch kick that backed Tech up inside their 10.
