A Bryan man in the Brazos County jail for the 41st time in 24 years is being held for local, state, and federal authorities. Bryan police arrested 41 year old Anray Adkins last weekend following a three block chase in the downtown north area on drugs and weapons charges. According to online jail records, Adkins is also being held on a state parole violation and a probation violation from the U.S. Marshal’s office. According to the BPD arrest report, Adkins was spotted after officers responded to a report of loud music at one in the morning at the Pop A Top nightclub on North Bryan Avenue. Officers found in Adkins’s car, what they believe to be crack cocaine, marijuana, and PCP, along with a handgun and $846 dollars cash.
A Bryan man with two convictions in the last eight months for driving with an invalid license was back in jail last weekend for being behind the wheel again. That’s according to the arrest report from Texas A&M police, where an officer spotted a vehicle at F & B Road and Harvey Mitchell Parkway with outdated registration. 24 year old Darian Madkins was also arrested for resisting arrest. He is accused of having to be forcefully wrestled out of his vehicle.
A hill country woman was arrested this month on charges of using a credit card without the owner’s permission to make 18 transactions at five Bryan locations during an eight day period last June. 26 year old Kimberly Biesenbach of Bandera was released from the Brazos County jail after posting a six thousand dollar bond. According to the arrest report from Bryan police, she was identified in surveillance video. Biesenbach told detectives she has gone into stores on a few occasions to pay for her friends using their debit cards.The victim told police they never received the card that was used for charges totaling more than $400 dollars.
