Bryan’s Mayor Calls For Volunteers To Wrap Up The Restoration Of The Historic Queen Theatre

For eight years, volunteers have been the backbone of the restoration of downtown Bryan’s Queen Theatre.

At the end of Tuesday night’s Bryan council meeting, Ben Hardeman brought up the grand reopening on the first Friday in May.

That led Mayor Andrew Nelson to put out a call for volunteers to get Hardeman, who has spearheaded the effort, to the finish line.

Hardeman says volunteers can sweep floors to painting to hanging and floating sheet rock.
