Trustees were unanimous on accepting grandfathering recommendations suggested by the committee. That means this year’s third, fifth, and seventh graders who have been rezoned in the past will have the option to stay at their current school next year.
Also, current second graders who would be rezoned to their third school have the option of staying at their current elementary school for the next two years. In both cases, siblings are not eligible for grandfathering.
