Brazos County Commission Approves Development Plan For A New Mobile Home Park
Brazos County commissioners give the green light to developers wanting to build a manufactured housing community south of Millican. Commissioners without public comment at their November 26th meeting, unanimously approve the infrastructure development plan for 120 manufactured homes off the southbound Highway six frontage road south of the Westward Ho exit. The Paradise Way mobile home community, according to paperwork submitted to the county, is age restricted to those 55 and older. The development is located in Navasota ISD. Water service will come from the Wellborn special utility district and electric from Mid South co-op. A construction timeline for paved streets and infrastructure was not part of the documents given to commissioners. Anyone Associated With Bryan ISD Are Reminded To Participate In Two Online Surveys
Bryan ISD students, parents, employees, and community members still have time to complete two online surveys. Director of counseling services Donna Willett told board members Monday (December 2) that it is the first time BISD asked at the same time, to complete two options for next year’s school calendar and collect opinions about how the district is performing. Willett says the survey deadline of December 10th gives administrators time to prepare calendar recommendations for board action on December 16th.
