For the third time in ten months, a College Station woman is in the Brazos County jail.

College Station police arrested 44 year old Kimberly Calhoun Thursday on a charge of aggravated assault with a weapon.

According to the arrest report, Calhoun denies chasing another woman their home with a six inch piece of a broken mirror.

Officers responded to a call Thursday just after 1 p.m. on Bridle Court, which is located off Longmire between Graham and Eagle.

The victim told police she and Calhoun got into a verbal argument that became physical, then Graves broke the victim’s bedroom vanity mirror.

According to the arrest report, the victim ran out of the house in fear for her life and called 9-1-1.

As of Friday morning, Calhoun was still in jail in lieu of a $10,000 dollar bond after her arrest for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

According to online court records, Calhoun is awaiting two trials on misdemeanor charges. One is for a DWI arrest last October. And she was arrested in April for family violence assault causing bodily injury. CSPD says the victim in the April assault is not the same person from Thursday’s incident.
