Money raised through the Brazos Valley Cattle Baron’s Ball helps continue the American Cancer Society’s mission to eliminate cancer by funding ground breaking research and supporting cancer patients by providing free information, resources, programs and services.
Last year, from January to October, more than 130 Brazos County residents were referred to services provided by the American Cancer Society from the three local hospitals due to a new cancer diagnosis or a recurrence.
The Cattle Baron’s Ball Chairs are looking for community partners, sponsors and those interested in helping raise funds to fight against cancer, as well as volunteers to join the committee in planning and executing the event.
