Texas A&M senior guard Courtney Walker was named an All-American by the Associated Press for the third consecutive season on Monday. Walker is the first three-time All-American in Texas A&M women’s basketball history.
Walker led the SEC with 19.7 points per game in 2016, and became Texas A&M’s all-time scoring leader with 1,989 points in her four year career. Walker is a three-time All-SEC First Team selection, and was named SEC Player of the Week five times in her career.
The Aggies finished 2015-16 with a 22-10 record, and made their 11thconsecutive appearance in the NCAA Tournament, advancing to the second round.
