Motorcyclist Hospitalized Following Midday Crash That Closed SW Parkway

A motorcycle that rear-ended a pickup Friday morning shut down Southwest Parkway east of Dartmouth for about one hour.

College Station Police Lt. Steve Brock says the 60 year old motorcyclist struck a pickup that had slowed down to make a right turn.

Brock says the motorcyclist, who was not wearing a helmet, was taken to the hospital with extensive injuries. The driver of the F-150 was not hurt.
