The Downtown Bryan Association starts a month of holiday activities Friday evening with it’s “Lights On” promotion.
Events manager Amanda Reynolds says dignitaries throw the switch at 6:15 at Sale Park that includes lighting two Christmas trees.
After the lights are turned on, there is a walking parade with Santa and the Salvation Army band to the Palace Theater, where activities are scheduled through 9 p.m.
