One Arrest In Machete Fight Outside A Bryan Nightclub

There’s been an arrest from a disturbance the weekend before last in the parking lot of a Bryan nightclub where a man’s hand was cut off with a machete.

38 year old Paulino Martinez of Bryan was picked up near San Antonio on Saturday and was transported to the Brazos County jail.

The man who lost his hand, who was also armed with a machete during the fight in the parking lot of the Tropicana Club, remains hospitalized.

Bryan police officer Kelley McKethan says no else has been charged as investigators finish their work.

According to online jail and court records, Martinez is also accused of violating probation from firing a gun inside another Bryan bar, Billar Tapatio, in March 2012. And Martinez is being held for immigration authorities.
