Announcement from Texas A&M:
Texas A&M President Michael K. Young will participate in an hour-long conversational forum with the university community on Tuesday morning (Nov. 3).
The program, titled “A Conversation with Texas A&M President Michael K. Young,” will be hosted by the University Staff Council at 10 a.m. in Rudder Auditorium. The program will be followed by a reception in Rudder Exhibit Hall.
By virtue of being sponsored by the Staff Council, the forum will be oriented toward personnel in the university’s various staff categories, but program organizers emphasize it is open to all members of the university community — faculty and students as well as staff.
The Tuesday session will be the first of its type for President Young since assuming leadership of Texas A&M May 1.
Interested individuals who are unable to join the Rudder Auditorium program can watch it on a computer, smartphone or related device at http://tx.ag/MKYtalk.
President Young will make introductory remarks, and members of the university community will then have the opportunity to ask him questions—personally by anyone attending the program or by email for those participating remotely.
“The University Staff Council is very excited to host this important dialogue with President Young. We particularly appreciate the opportunity for staff to ask questions and connect directly with the President,” said Toni Eubanks, Chair of the University Staff Council.
