The absence of rain was appreciated—if only for a few hours—as thousands lined University Drive and Texas Avenue Sunday afternoon for the 88th B/CS Christmas Parade.
102 entries were registered for the annual event, which was held under cloudy skies and a perfectly average temperature of 55 with a slight breeze.
Children who wrote letters to Santa were picked up by his elves along the parade route and should expect a reply real soon!

The Judges wish to express their appreciation to the members of law enforcement who provided valuable services during this parade. The motorcycle officers wore reindeer antlers on their helmets, decorated their bikes, and carried a Christmas present on the back of their motorcycles. The effort was noticed and greatly appreciated.
