5th ranked Ags host Cowgirls at 6 Saturday

The No. 5 Texas A&M women’s basketball team (21-3, 9-2) welcomes Oklahoma State (15-9, 3-8) to Aggieland on Saturday, Feb. 19 for its NCAA “Pack the House” Challenge. Tipoff between the Aggies and the Cowgirls is set for 6 p.m. (CT) at Reed Arena. A&M plays three of its last five regular season games in the comfortable confines of Reed Arena and begins a two-game homestretch with OSU. The Aggies looks to rebound from a 58-67 loss to No. 1 Baylor, while OSU will be trying to bounce back from a 65-71 overtime loss at Missouri. A&M is in second place in the Big 12 Conference standings and the Cowgirls sit in a three-way tie for ninth. The last time the two teams met, seniorMaryann Baker scored a career-high 21 points and combined with junior Tyra White (20 pts) for half of the team’s points in an 82-57 win in Stillwater, Okla. The Aggies are ranked in the top 15 nationally in eight different NCAA statistical categories.
