Thursday is the College Station Noon Lions Club’s 59th annual “I Love America” Fourth of July Celebration at the George H.W. Bush Library and Museum.
Leanne South, Publicity Chair, says the day includes food vendors, a kid’s zone, train rides, and a concert by the Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra.
“They time the tail end of their concert to go with the fireworks display; that starts about 9:45 p.m. and that display runs for about 20 minutes,” said South.
South says volunteers are also still needed to work two-hour shifts throughout the day.
