4th Arrest in Bryan Teen Murder

A fourth arrest has been made in the May murder of a Bryan teenager.

20 year old Jacob Hernandez is accused of engaging in organized criminal activity. This follows a direct indictment obtained by the Bryan Police Department in the death of 17 year old Christopher Hutchson.

What role Hernandez is accused of playing has not been revealed. One has been charged with murder. 22 year old Johnathan Orta of Bryan made his first appearance in Brazos County District Court Monday.

Also accused of engaging in organized criminal activity are 20 year olds Manuel Gusman and Joey Reyes, both of Bryan.

The early morning of May 9th, police discovered Hutchson’s body in the backyard of a home in the 300 block of West 17th. Before he was shot, investigators were told Hutchson and a second young man were beat up by gang members.
