1st Contract Approved for New Bryan WW Plant

The Bryan City Council recently approved the first contract associated with a new sewage treatment plant.

The city and BTU are splitting the $1 million dollar price tag of grading what will become the road getting in and out of the Thompson’s Creek site, which is off Foster Road west of the interchange of Highway 47 and Villa Maria Road.

BTU is sharing the expense because an electrical substation is being built.

The engineer’s estimate for the new sewage treatment plant is 13 million dollars.
