10th Anniversary Celebrated Of Brazos Valley-Belgium Economic Development Partnership

As many as 21 corporations based in Belgium are interested in locating in the Bryan/College Station area.

That was one of the takeaways from a trade mission held in the twin cities last week.

The president of the Brazos Valley economic development corporation, Matt Prochaska, says the gathering also included representatives from China and Australia.

Prochaska says among the memorandums of understanding that were signed included a research agreement involving Texas A&M and Belgium’s University of Liege.

Prochaska thanked what he described as an amazing turnout by local businessowners and other participants for their involvement in the trade mission.
