Focus Groups Are A Part Of Selecting The Next College Station ISD Superintendent

The next step in searching for College Station ISD’s next superintendent takes place Thursday.

School board president Michael Schaefer says their consultant will be asking questions of four focus groups, composed of a variety of CSISD employees and community members.

Schaefer says the private conversations will not include school board members.

Thursday night, the consultant will report their findings to the school board during a special meeting.

Schaefer says public comments are welcomed at board meetings and through e-mail.

And Schaefer says he’s been approached by CSISD patrons about the search, though more have been interested in past CSISD campus rezonings.

Thursday’s CSISD board meeting starts at 6 p.m.
