Blinn College reports record spring enrollment. The board of trustees was told this week that total headcount is 18,131.
That’s an increase of 4.3 percent from a year ago.
There continues to be a decline at the Bryan main campus that is more than made up by enrollment at the two year old RELLIS campus location.
Two years ago, the year before the RELLIS location opened, headcount was 10,261. Last spring, the Bryan campus was at 8,621. This spring’s number is 7,853.
At RELLIS, headcount went from 1,557 last spring to 2.458 this year.
The number of Blinn online students continues to increase, from 2,868 last spring to 3,408 this year.
Spring enrollment at Blinn’s home campus in Brenham rose from 2,217 to 2,253.
