News/Talk 1620 WTAW received 14 Texas Associated Press Broadcasters (TAPB) awards at the organization’s annual banquet Saturday night in Austin.
The awards reflect WTAW news, sports, weather, and feature reports during 2017.
WTAW is part of the TAPB division that covers stations in Texas except for the Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, San Antonio, and Austin markets.
WTAW’s first place TAPB awards are for:
