Women’s Basketball Lands Nine National TV Games

BIRMINGHAM – The Texas A&M women’s basketball team was selected for nine nationally televised games during the 2024-25 campaign, the SEC announced Thursday.

ESPNU will carry the Syracuse matchup (Dec. 4) at Reed Arena while ESPN2 will televise the Aggies’ trip to the reigning National Champion South Carolina Gamecocks (Jan. 9). The Maroon & White’s seven remaining linear broadcasts will be featured on SEC Network against Kansas State (Dec. 8), Oklahoma (Jan. 12), Kentucky (Jan. 23), LSU (Jan. 26), Texas (Feb. 2), Missouri (Feb. 9) and Alabama (Feb. 17).

The Aggies’ season begins Monday, Nov. 4 at Reed Arena against A&M-Corpus Christi at 7 p.m. The public can get its first look at this year’s squad Oct. 19 at 9 a.m. for the second annual Biscuits and Baskets. For more information on the event, click here.

Texas A&M enters year three under the direction of head coach Joni Taylor. The Maroon & White bring back two-time All-SEC selection Aicha Coulibaly who was just one of four players in the country last year to average at least 13.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.0 steals while shooting over 50% from the field. Texas A&M also brings back defensive anchor Lauren Ware who was top 10 in rebounds and blocks per game in the SEC last year.
