The College Station City Council has taken the next step to advance eight proposed changes to the city charter to voters this November.
Nearly all the two hour discussion was spent on changing the recall process.
Voters will decide whether to add to recall requirements based on a council members incompetency, malfeasance in office, or official misconduct.
A question about how to define misconduct, malfeasance, and/or incompetence was answered by City Attorney Carla Robinson.
Among those objecting during the public hearing was Benito Flores-Meath.
