College Station police stayed busy over the weekend.
Saturday night, gunshots reported near the corner of Poplar and Eisenhower led them to a house that had been struck by several rounds.
Those reporting said five men armed with a gun and baseball bat had approached the home and tried to call three individuals into the street, shooting at them as they went inside.
No one was injured and the culprits escaped in a black or dark blue low-rider pickup.
Meanwhile, a traffic stop near the intersection of Harvey Mitchell Parkway and Luther Street early Sunday morning resulted in police finding more than a pound of marijuana in a car.
The driver, Shelby Goodman, 39, of College Station, was arrested for his third DWI and the marijuana.
