Weatherford Water Woes Continue

WEATHERFORD, Texas (AP) _ Limited water service has been restored to Weatherford after the city of nearly 28,000 started the week with little water for drinking due to a broken pipeline.

Officials said Wednesday that crews are still working toward a permanent fix to the pipeline problem discovered early Monday.

Assistant City Manager Robert Hannah told The Associated Press that the city has spent about $70,000 to distribute more than 500,000 bottles of water to residents. Hannah says water pressure was back to normal as of midday Wednesday, but
