The Brazos County road and bridge department reports rainy weather continues to slow down the progress of what needs to be done to reopen I & GN Road between Graham and Capstone.

Operations manager Gary Arnold says they have given information to their engineers who will design the necessary repairs.

Arnold says a visual inspection has been done every other day since the road was closed in September…which happened after finding a crack in the pavement along a guardrail next to a ditch that’s 18 feet deep.
