Bryan Police apprehending a fugitive Tuesday say he was found with a handgun with a high-capacity magazine.
Investigators received a tip that 18-year-old *Keijuan Crawford was at a home in the 1100 block of North Sims Avenue. They saw Crawford exit the home with the gun in his waistband that had a drum style magazine. The gun was identified in arrest records as a .40 caliber Glock 23. While the capacity of the magazine was not specified in the records, the smallest drum magazines available typically hold 50 rounds.
Crawford had an outstanding warrant for Continuous Violence Against the Family and was apprehended during a traffic stop. The handgun was found under the front passenger seat, where Crawford was sitting.
Crawford was arrested on the outstanding warrant and additionally charged with Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon. He was booked into the Brazos County Jail and is being held on $125,000 bond.
